BenSelect is a robust, enterprise-ready system that can handle data integration with all carriers and nearly any payroll system. For businesses that want to simplify access to BenSelect, single sign-on is also available.

The Report Server within BenSelect handles data transfers, creating reports and extracts and placing them on a secure website for download.

In addition, BenSelect provides a plug-in component for transmitting files to external file servers. This plug-in supports various delivery methods, including FTP, SFTP, FTPS, or SecureTransport. Delivery is completely automated and files may be automatically encrypted using PGP.

Data is transferred to carriers via conventional eligibility files (data) and/or document images (typically Adobe Acrobat). And data transfers can be performed manually (ad hoc reports) or scheduled for delivery in batches.

BenSelect also supports reporting to multiple carriers when applicants enroll in products from more than one carrier. The Payer report (which extracts information for each carrier) can extract only the information pertinent to a particular carrier in the report sent to that carrier.

For employers participating in Section 125 plans, BenSelect’s Report Scheduler supports rapid configuration of extracts, including the ANSI834 format, which is accepted by carriers for most Section 125 plans.

BenSelect handles integration with payroll systems via custom extracts generated by the Payroll Extract plug-in. You can configure the plug-in yourself or have Selerix do it for you.
